The Public Security Police (PSP) of the Azores announced that two men, aged 43 and 65, were arrested in Ribeira Grande, on the island of São Miguel, for being "strongly suspected" of drug trafficking.
The two suspects were placed in preventive detention following the arrest, according to information provided by the Regional Command of the PSP of the Azores.
The case took place in Ribeira Grande, a municipality located on the north coast of the island of São Miguel, in the Azores archipelago. The PSP revealed today the information about the arrest and the coercive measure applied to the two men.
