Fire in vegetation cuts IC1 near Ermidas-Sado

A fire in vegetation forced the closure of road traffic on the IC1 at kilometre 617, near Ermidas-Sado. The closure was implemented since 5:03 PM.

The flames originated from a burning car, subsequently spreading to the surrounding vegetation. The incident mobilized a significant firefighting response.

Ninety operatives were deployed to the area, accompanied by seven aerial resources, which participated in the firefighting operations.
