The Lisbon Stock Exchange closed today near the so-called "waterline", managing to stay in positive territory. The PSI index registered a rise of 0.07%, settling at 9,437.18 points.
The positive behavior of the Portuguese market was sustained by the gains recorded by Galp Energia, which rose more than 2% during the session. The oil company was thus the main driver of the slight growth of the index.
The term "waterline" refers to the critical level that separates a positive result from a negative one in the stock market, in this case the PSI managed to stay above this threshold.
