The bars of CP trains are on strike, with an average adherence of 95% across the country. This is a stoppage of workers in these services that affects long-distance and regional trains.
In Lisbon, adherence to the strike does not reach 90%. According to a union official heard by the agency, this is due to the fact that there are more workers with more precarious employment contracts in this city.
In Porto, adherence to the strike is practically total, according to the same union source.
The strike is affecting the catering services available on board the trains of the Portuguese railway carrier CP.
