Striker Bruno Duarte was officially presented as a Vasco player this Monday, at Centro de Treinamento Moacyr Barbosa, in Jacarépagua, in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro. During the presentation, the player showed confidence and revealed his goal for his time at the club: to score at least one goal per match.
The presentation of the forward did not have the expected attention because, hours before, his new teammate David became the target of the Civil Police in an operation against a criminal organization operating interstate. The operation investigates the organization's involvement with drug and arms trafficking, as well as possible ties to a criminal faction.
When asked about David's possible absence, Bruno Duarte stated that he is prepared to play in different positions in the attack to help the team, highlighting that his characteristics allow for this versatility. He added that his main quality is his decisiveness inside the box.
