The PCP will present a resolution proposal in the Assembly of the Republic proposing free public education up to the 12th year. The communists argue that the State should ensure free access to education at all levels of basic and secondary education.
In addition to this proposal, the communist party also presents the intention to create a public network of nurseries with 100,000 places within four years. This measure aims to expand the offering of pre-school education and support Portuguese families.
