FURIA: Bolsonaro wears jersey of eSports team founded by Neymar's 'buddy'

The presidential candidate for the PL party, Bolsonaro, appeared wearing a FURIA jersey, one of Brazil's main esports organizations, during his first campaign insertion on electoral TV time, aired last Saturday. In the video, he highlights his family and is introduced by his own wife as the "most moderate Bolsonaro."

FURIA, which also appears in other campaign pieces by Bolsonaro, maintains a football division led by businessman Cris Guedes. Cris Guedes is a billionaire, cofounder of the organization and a close friend of Neymar since adolescence.

The FURIA organization was founded in 2017 and gained prominence mainly through its Counter-Strike performance, a first-person shooter game franchise. Currently, it maintains teams in modalities such as Counter-Strike 2, League of Legends, and others, being considered one of Brazil's main esports organizations.
