The Vila Verde Health Centre began this Monday comprehensive renovation works, with an investment exceeding 700 thousand euros funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan and promoted by the Municipality. The works are expected to continue until the end of the year, in a building with more than 2,300 square metres constructed in 1999.
The intervention will require changes in the operation of services, with the relocation of offices and equipment. To maintain activity, the municipality installed temporary structures that will temporarily replace some medical offices and sanitary facilities.
The work includes roof replacement, facade restoration, lighting renovation and installation of a new air conditioning system. The works will be carried out in a phased manner, seeking to reduce the impact on users and professionals, during a minimum period of 90 days.
