The rescue teams continue, this Monday, the work to find missing people in hydroelectric plants that were flooded by the flood in the Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts of Nepal. The operation takes place after the floods hit several energy infrastructures in the region.
Around 900 people are believed missing in at least 12 hydroelectric plants in these two districts. The high number of missing people raises concerns about the scale of the disaster at these facilities.
The local authorities are coordinating the rescue efforts to try to locate survivors in the plant tunnels. The situation remains critical as the teams work to find people alive.
