A car used as a "drug trafficker's caveirão" was involved in an accident this Monday in Penha Circular, North Zone of Rio. The vehicle, a silver armored Toyota Hilux, had loopholes — holes in the bodywork used to support weapons and shoot with greater accuracy. The car was found with no occupants.
Military police officers from the 16th BPM (Olaria) were called to Avenida Brás de Pina around 1 a.m. At the scene, the agents confirmed that the vehicle had knocked down a pole and stopped after colliding against the wall of the Aloysio Augusto Novis Family Clinic.
The agents checked the license plate and discovered it was cloned. According to the officers, the vehicle had been stolen in the area of the 9th Police Station (Catete) on October 3, 2025. The officers arranged for the car to be towed.
