Algarve chef Noélia Jerónimo premieres on September 14, at 9:00 PM, the program "Tragam Pão!" on the 24Kitchen channel. This is the chef's first television program under her own name, dedicated to Portuguese gastronomy and deeply inspired by the roots, products, and memories of the Algarve. The title recovers an expression that has become one of her trademarks, used when a sauce appears at the table that deserves to be enjoyed to the last drop.
The premiere episode, titled "Mar" (Sea), begins with a tuna and almond tartare inspired by the Algarve, cut into small cubes and seasoned with a mustard, wasabi, and olive oil vinaigrette. This is followed by a crispy sea bass rice, prepared in a paella pan and finished in the oven, with slices of fresh fish. For dessert, Noélia Jerónimo prepares an Algarve orange cake accompanied by crumble, cream, and samphire.
Throughout the program, the chef aims to blend recipes, stories, and recollections, with Tavira, the sea, and Ria Formosa as permanent references. The broadcast will be from Monday to Friday, always at 9:00 PM, with sponsorship from LG, Kenwood, Costa Verde, Pescanova, Caçarola, and Matinados. In the following episodes, recipes with Algarve and Mediterranean inspiration will continue to be explored, including some of the chef's daughters' favorite dishes.
