Lisbon Metro's Praça de Espanha Station Reopens on Thursday and Reboleira Station Closes

Sábado31 August 2026 at 14:58

Lisbon's Praça de Espanha metro station will reopen on Thursday after having been closed for a period of renovation work. This reopening marks the end of a phase of construction carried out at this station in the Portuguese capital.

Conversely, the Reboleira station will close its doors to passengers. This decision comes as part of a maintenance and infrastructure renewal plan for Lisbon's metro.

The Reboleira platform will be subject to work during the period between September 3 and 28. During this month, passengers will not be able to use this station as a starting point or destination for their metro journeys.
