Brazilian Triathlon Championship Defines Champions and 56 Qualifiers for the World Championship in Germany

The Brazilian Standard Triathlon Championship was held this Sunday in Brasília, at Pontão do Lago Sul, bringing together approximately 400 competitors from different age groups. The competition served as a single stage to define the national champions of the sport and distribute the spots for the 2027 World Championship, which will take place in Hamburg, Germany.

In total, 56 athletes were directly qualified for the World Championship, with 15 women and 41 men. The distribution of spots considered the different age groups of the competitors, ensuring representativeness in multiple categories.

In the women's category, Beatriz Ribeiro stood out by winning the F25-29 category with a time of 2h19min59s. Other champions were Marina Berti in F35-39, Manoela Amaral in F40-44, and Nuzia Naila Gomes Batista in F45-49.

Among the men, Rafael Brandão recorded the best overall time of the age groups, completing the race in 2h00min47s and winning the M45-49 category. Lynneker Genesis Fernandes da Silva won M35-39, Rafael Aragão Queiroz de Freitas took the title in M40-44, and Raimundo Sabino Alves was the first place in M50-54. The competition was part of the SESC+ Triathlon program, held by Sesc-DF in partnership with other entities.
