The platform of Praça de Espanha station on Lisbon Metro reopens to the public this week, after the completion of rehabilitation works. The station, integrated in the blue line that connects Santa Apolónia and Reboleira, was in operation throughout the entire works period, although with limitations.
During the rehabilitation works, Metro de Lisboa chose to keep the station open to passengers, implementing restrictions that were changed throughout the different phases of the intervention. This approach made it possible to minimize the impact on users of the capital's metro network.
