The summer edition of the Baixa de Setúbal Outlet attracted the public to the streets with clothing, accessories and other products at promotional prices. The participating establishments presented offers both inside and outside the shops, which remained open until 10pm.
The Vice-President of Setúbal City Council, Maria do Carmo Tiago, and councilman Bruno Russo visited several participating establishments and spoke with traders. Maria do Carmo Tiago also participated in a street interview promoted by the Som da Baixa radio station.
The program combined shopping opportunities with cultural entertainment, including giveaways, the Som da Baixa radio broadcast, a performance by Nuno Miguel and a musical moment with DJ Damascena at Largo da Misericórdia.
The Summer Outlet sought to encourage shopping in traditional commerce and reinforce the attractiveness of Setúbal's commercial Baixa. The initiative was organized by Setúbal City Council, the Association Setúbal Embraces Baixa and local traders.
