Mohamed Amoura is on his way to Nice to reinforce the French side this season. The 26-year-old striker, who was linked to Benfica in this transfer window, is thus changing scenery after conclusive negotiations between all parties involved in the process.

According to SkySport Germany, Nice reached a full agreement with Wolfsburg for the loan of the Algerian international, who is a compatriot of Riyad Mahrez. The operation is completed through a loan valid for one season, with an option to purchase the player's registration at the end of the loan period to the French club.

The final bureaucratic details of the contract are currently being finalized between the French club's board and the player's representatives. The trip to France is scheduled for this Monday, where the African striker will undergo the usual battery of diagnostic tests before the contract is formalized.

Mohamed Amoura had already been scouted by Benfica's structure, who expressed interest in the player during this summer, but ultimately did not complete the signing. The Algerian thus leaves Wolfsburg, the club he was playing for, to embark on a new adventure in the French Ligue 1.
