Temperatures will rise again in Portugal over the coming days, according to the latest forecasts from the ECMWF model. The article indicates that the district capitals of Évora and Beja may record temperatures of 40 ºC.
The rise in temperatures should be felt noticeably between Tuesday and Wednesday. For Wednesday, highs of up to 35 ºC are expected for Beja. The North and Central coast will have more contained values compared to the interior of the country, with coastal cities not expected to exceed 25 ºC.
Thursday, September 3, may be the hottest day of the week. It is expected that on this date there will be a new significant rise in values, pushing thermometers to 40 ºC in the cities of Évora and Beja.
