Vale celebrates expansion of street circuit with more than double the runners

The Vale Race Circuit concluded its 2026 edition last Sunday in Itabira, Minas Gerais, with a positive balance and growth prospects for upcoming editions. The event, promoted by Vale, one of the world's largest producers of iron ore, copper and nickel, brings together street races in different cities throughout the year.

Throughout 2026, the circuit brought together approximately 26,000 runners across seven stages, representing significant growth compared to the previous year. The number of participants grew 117% compared to the 2025 edition, which featured 12,000 runners, more than doubling the number of participating athletes.

The substantial growth indicates that the event is establishing itself as one of the main street races on the Brazilian sports calendar. Vale celebrates the results and demonstrates confidence in the continued expansion of the circuit in the coming years.
