L'Alcora makes its elderly the protagonists of the Cristo festivities

El Periódico Mediterráneo - General31 August 2026 at 13:35

The municipality of l'Alcora celebrated a special day dedicated to senior citizens during the Cristo festivals. This Monday, the elderly became the true protagonists of the festivities, with activities specifically prepared for them.

The l'Alcora City Council was responsible for bringing the festive atmosphere to the spaces where the elderly reside. The celebration took place both at the day center and at the Hogar Madre Rosa Ojeda residence, two essential facilities for the local community.

During the day, a fellowship activity was organized that allowed the users of these facilities to participate actively in the festivities. This celebration also served as a moment of recognition of the elderly, highlighting their important role in the community.

The initiative allowed the residents of the nursing home and day center to enjoy the Cristo festivals in a special way adapted to their needs, ensuring that no one was left out of the municipal celebrations.

Blue was the chosen partner in summer shows from Celine, Jil Sander, and Loewe, and the trend continued in Prada's winter collection.
