José Luís Carneiro, Secretary-General of PS, alerted in Maputo that Portugal lost competitiveness in 57% of international markets. The socialist leader defended the start of disbursements of the 500 million euro credit line announced in December, aimed at supporting Portuguese companies in Mozambique. The visit to Maputo comes in the context of strengthening economic relations between the two countries. The credit line aims precisely to counteract the loss of Portuguese competitiveness in external markets, supporting the internationalization of national companies.
