BlackRock Portugal has a new leader. João Robalo Martins succeeds Francisco Guimarães Neto in the direction of the Portuguese branch of the world's largest asset manager.

Robalo Martins arrives at BlackRock coming from PIMCO, where he remained for nine years. His previous experience includes positions of responsibility in the asset management area.

The main objectives of the new leader are the expansion of the distribution area, the increase of market share and the strengthening of BlackRock's leadership position in Portugal.

Portuguese government says companies should take advantage to invest now in Mozambique

The Portuguese Secretary of State for the Economy, João Rui Ferreira, called on Portuguese companies to take advantage of investment opportunities in Mozambique during the 61st International Maputo Fair (Facim), arguing that the country offers conditions to serve as an expansion platform in southern Africa.
