3rd edition of "At My School's Bank" by APB reached about 8 thousand students

The Portuguese Banking Association (APB) carried out the third edition of the "At My School's Bank" initiative, which reached about 8 thousand students from basic and secondary education.

The program promoted 317 sessions in 78 schools from north to south of the country, covering students from 7th to 12th grade.

The initiative aims to promote financial education among young people, raising awareness about the importance of financial literacy and responsible money management.

European Union suspends imports of Brazilian meat starting Thursday

Ludgero Marques: Seguro remembers a prominent figure of business associations

President of the Republic António José Seguro expressed deep sorrow over the death of Ludgero Marques, at age 88, describing him as one of the most prominent figures in Portuguese business associations. Ludgero Marques led the Portuense Industrial Association between 1985 and 2008, a period during which the institution transformed into the Business Association of Portugal. A native of Santa Maria da Feira, he graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Porto and headed several companies, including the taps and ceramics manufacturer Cifial. He received several honorary distinctions, including the rank of Grand-Officer of the Order of Prince Henry. The funeral will be held at the Matrix Church of Rio Meão, followed by the crematorium in Aveiro.
