Richard Gere turned 77 on Monday (31). The actor, who was once considered the "sexiest man in the world" and became famous for his role in "Pretty Woman," is currently living in a phase where Hollywood glamour seems to have taken a backseat.
The star attributes meditation to part of the balance he has found over the years. Since 2018, he has been married to 43-year-old Spanish publicist Alejandra Silva, with whom he has two children, Alexander and James. Gere is also the father of Homer, from his previous marriage to Carey Lowell, while Alejandra has Albert, from a previous relationship.
The family usually seeks more secluded destinations to preserve their privacy. Despite continuing to work, the actor is in the cast of "Asymmetry," directed by Edward Zwick.
