Loek Hovers, rider from the Willebrord Wil Vooruit team, won this Sunday the fourth and final stage of the 20th Volta a Portugal de Juniores, which ended in Sernancelhe. The young Dutchman once again demonstrated he was the strongest throughout the entire competition.
With this victory in the final stage, Loek Hovers also secured victory in the final General Classification of the race. The rider had already demonstrated his superiority the previous day, by winning the individual time trial stage held in Sabugal.
This was the Dutchman's second stage victory in this edition of the Volta a Portugal de Juniores, consolidating his dominance in the competition. The race, which reached its 20th edition, ended in Sernancelhe with the well-deserved triumph of Loek Hovers.
