Burger King reopens at Plaza Madeira with new location

The Burger King restaurant has reopened at Plaza Madeira shopping center, this time in a new location. The store is now situated in space 0.10, on Floor 0 of the shopping center.

The reopening brings a totally renewed image of the restaurant, with new technological solutions implemented. This modernization is part of a brand update strategy.

The improvement and renovation works lasted about a month and a half, during which the restaurant remained closed to carry out these alterations.

Ludgero Marques: Seguro remembers a prominent figure of business associations

President of the Republic António José Seguro expressed deep sorrow over the death of Ludgero Marques, at age 88, describing him as one of the most prominent figures in Portuguese business associations. Ludgero Marques led the Portuense Industrial Association between 1985 and 2008, a period during which the institution transformed into the Business Association of Portugal. A native of Santa Maria da Feira, he graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Porto and headed several companies, including the taps and ceramics manufacturer Cifial. He received several honorary distinctions, including the rank of Grand-Officer of the Order of Prince Henry. The funeral will be held at the Matrix Church of Rio Meão, followed by the crematorium in Aveiro.
