The rehabilitation and expansion works of the Valença Health Center are nearing completion, representing one of the most relevant investments in the qualification of primary healthcare in the municipality. The project aims to modernize and expand the health infrastructure available to the local population.
The total investment allocated to this work is around 3.5 million euros, a significant amount that will allow for a substantial improvement in the care conditions and services provided to users of the health center.
The funding for this intervention is provided by the Recovery and Resilience Plan, the European program created to support economic and social recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic. This funding source demonstrates the European commitment to improving health infrastructure in Member States.
