The Superior Electoral Court (TSE) ordered the suspension of a propaganda piece from President Lula's (PT) campaign that attacked Senator Flavio Bolsonaro (PL). The piece, titled "Get to Know Flavio Bolsonaro's Resume," called the senator a ghost employee and made references to episodes such as the "rachadinhas" case and accusations related to Banco Master.
The preliminary injunction was issued by Minister Estela Aranha, who considered that the propaganda exceeded the limits of political criticism by presenting accusations out of context, with the potential to induce voters to error. The minister highlighted that the piece did not adequately inform the outcome of the "rachadinhas" case.
With the decision, Lula and his coalition are prohibited from broadcasting this propaganda again until the final judgment. Television broadcasters were also notified to interrupt the display of the piece.
