Temperatures may rise up to 12 degrees from Wednesday

Maximum temperatures will rise sharply from Wednesday. According to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA), the increases can reach 10 to 12 degrees in some locations in the country. The regions of the Tagus Valley, Beira Baixa and Alentejo are the most affected, with maximum temperatures expected between 40 and 42 degrees.
