Fire destroys vehicle and causes damage on the road on ER 385 between Granja and Mourão

A light passenger vehicle was completely burned this Sunday at kilometre 3 of Regional Road 385, in the direction of Granja–Mourão. The fire also caused damage to the road, requiring special attention from users of that road.

The alert for the incident was given at 1:00 PM, according to information provided by the Central Alentejo Civil Protection to Rádio Campanário.

The Mourão Fire Brigade and GNR were on scene, with a total of 14 operatives, supported by four vehicles.

The Municipal Civil Protection Service of Mourão warns road users of the need to drive with special caution in that location, due to the damage caused to the road as a result of the fire.
