The Historic Village of Sortelha, in the Municipality of Sabugal, hosts from September 18 to 20 the XIV edition of the "Muralhas com História" event. The initiative, promoted by the Municipality of Sabugal, invites visitors to go back to the medieval era during three days of programming.
This year, the event presents as theme "The Card that Changed History", aims to provide participants with the opportunity to experience medieval life through various activities and animations that recreate the atmosphere of the era.
The village of Sortelha, classified as a Historic Village, constitutes a privileged setting for holding this type of event, thanks to its medieval architectural heritage that includes walls and castle.
