Temperatures will rise between 10 to 12 degrees in some places in Portugal from Wednesday. This significant rise represents a sudden change in the country's weather conditions.
On Thursday, the expected maximum temperature for most of the Portuguese territory is between 34 and 38 degrees. These temperatures will affect most regions of the country.
In the interior regions located south of the Serra da Estrela, thermal values will be even higher. The areas of Vale do Tejo, Beira Baixa and Alentejo should record temperatures around 40 to 42 degrees.
