A motorcycle crash on National Road 255 caused a serious injury yesterday, which had to be airlifted from the scene to the hospital. The accident occurred at kilometer 67.7, on the stretch between Amieira and São Marcos do Campo.
Traffic on the connection between Portel and Reguengos de Monsaraz was completely cut off due to the accident, but the GNR confirmed that the road has already reopened.
The alert was given at 5:17 PM and 23 operatives and seven vehicles took part at the scene, in addition to an INEM helicopter that carried out the evacuation of the seriously injured person.
