The Local Health Unit of Central Alentejo (ULSAC) integrated 40 new professionals during the months of July and August 2026. The group is composed of hospital assistants, nurses, auxiliary technicians, technical assistants and operational staff, covering different professional categories necessary to reinforce the care response of the institution.
The new professionals were received at a welcome session led by the president of the Board of Directors of ULSAC, Carlos Mateus Gomes, which took place in Évora. This session officially marks the integration of the collaborators in the health unit.
According to the information sent by ULSAC, these professionals will play a fundamental role in the transition to the New Central Hospital. The reinforcement of the teams comes at a phase of preparation for this important change in the hospital structure of the region.
The integration of these 40 new collaborators aims to strengthen the care response capacity of the Local Health Unit of Central Alentejo, preparing the institution for future challenges and for the operation of the new hospital.
