The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) forecasts for Monday, August 31, 2026, partly cloudy or clear skies across most of the Portuguese territory. The exception will be the Central coast, where morning cloud formation is expected, with periods of greater cloudiness until mid-morning and again at the end of the day.
The most relevant meteorological phenomenon forecast for this date is the intensification of wind on the west coast and in the highlands of the country, regions that should feel the effects of this atmospheric condition.
Regarding temperatures, IPMA anticipates a drop in minimum temperature across most of the national territory. However, the regions of Baixo Alentejo and Algarve will not follow this trend, with thermometers remaining stable in these areas.
