Portugal will acquire three FREMM EVO frigates from Italy in an investment of approximately 3.9 billion euros.

The Government does not clarify how much Portugal will pay in interest on the loan intended for this military acquisition.

The acquisition of the three frigates from Italy represents one of Portugal's largest military investments in recent years.
