The concert mobilized the artist's young audience, evoking the "do it yourself" pop-rock feminism characteristic of her musical influences from the 90s.
The festival lineup was entirely women-led, featuring queer pop star Chappell Roan, rising rapper Doechii and riot grrrl pioneers Bikini Kill. The event championed causes such as women's health, workplace protection and legal rights.
Before Saturday's festival, Olivia Rodrigo announced that the show intends to highlight the artist's ability to mobilize her young audience for social causes.
