The deadline for completing the Recovery and Resilience Plan ends today, with the Government guaranteeing that it will achieve 100% execution of the plan. This is an important deadline for meeting the commitments made to the European Commission.
The Minister of Economy, Manuel Castro Almeida, announced that the loan component, which amounts to around 5.5 billion euros, will also be fully executed. According to the minister, this should happen "unless some unforeseen event occurs," leaving a small margin for possible contingencies.
The plan represents a significant investment for the country, with rigorous execution targets that had to be met within the established deadline. The full execution of the RRP is essential for Portugal to maintain credibility with European institutions and ensure access to the available funds.
