Temperatures will rise significantly in Portugal from Wednesday onwards, with an increase of 10 to 12 degrees in some locations across the country. This thermal rise represents an abrupt change in the weather conditions that have been recorded recently.
According to weather forecasts, thermometers may reach 42 degrees in several points of Portuguese territory. This value represents very high temperatures, typical of a heat wave.
The forecast indicates that the intense heat will affect the country broadly, although some locations may experience the rise more sharply than others. Meteorological authorities advise the population to take precautions against these extreme temperatures.
