Partnership with company yields opportunities for students with disabilities in Nova Iguaçu

extra31 August 2026 at 08:01

A partnership established between the Municipal Education Secretary of Nova Iguaçu and the company Granfino has been providing employment opportunities for people with disabilities who completed their studies through Youth and Adult Education (EJA). The program called Supported Employment is responsible for connecting students who completed EJA to the positions made available by the company.

Students interested in the opportunities need to express their interest directly. Throughout the entire process of insertion into the labor market, each student receives individualized support, with guidance and assistance adapted to their specific needs and the characteristics of the position offered.

The main objective of the program is that students, upon entering the labor market, achieve autonomy and financial independence. Additionally, the initiative aims to allow them to develop professional relationships that expand their experiences and contribute to their professional qualification.

Luiz Henrique is mentioned as one of the former students of Escola Municipal Amazor who benefited from this partnership. The text, however, appears cut off before providing more details about his trajectory.

The spokesperson for the European Executive stated that Brazil is an important partner of the EU and that they are working constructively with Brazilian authorities to ensure compliance with the requirements, allowing the resumption of exports after such compliance is demonstrated.
