Investment in savings certificates once again reached record values in July, according to data from the Bank of Portugal. The total amount invested rose to 43,851 million euros, representing year-on-year growth of 14.7%.
This was the 22nd consecutive month of increased investment in this financial product. The growth trend has been consistent for almost two years, with demand for savings certificates remaining one of the preferred options for investors.
Data from the Bank of Portugal confirm that savings certificates continue to be a popular choice among Portuguese people looking for lower-risk investments.
