One month after exchanging the campaign strategist for the second time, Senator Flavio Bolsonaro's (PL-RJ) presidential campaign has been undergoing a realignment in communication strategy, trying to promote a shift to the right. Under the guidance of Duda Lima, the third name to lead the marketing area, themes such as public security, fight against organized crime, national sovereignty, and more direct criticisms of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva have gained weight.
Among the changes implemented by Duda Lima are the weekly live streams promoted by Flavio, which resumed a practice adopted by his father, former President Jair Bolsonaro, during his government. In these broadcasts, the candidate comments on different matters directly with the electorate.
The electoral airtime was also altered, bringing images from the 2018 and 2022 elections to TV. The strategy aims to reinforce the connection with the father and present Flavio as a continuation of the political project that brought the Bolsonaro group to the Presidency of the Republic.
Campaign allies cite Duda Lima as responsible for these changes, trying to reduce the rough edges with Bolsonaro supporters and consolidate the candidate's image among the electorate loyal to the former president.
