Heat is returning to Portugal with strong intensity. Temperatures will rise significantly from Wednesday, potentially reaching increases of up to 12 degrees Celsius in some locations across the country.
According to the weather forecast, maximum temperatures could reach 40 to 42 degrees in several regions of the mainland, particularly affecting the Tagus Valley, Lower Beira and Alentejo.
This abrupt temperature rise represents a significant change in the meteorological conditions of recent weeks, anticipating a new heat wave in Portuguese territory.
