In a new Globoplay soap opera, Mel Summers will play Alanis Guillen's character as a child

Mel Summers, who currently plays Vanessa as a child in "Por você," has been confirmed to play the character Maria Cecília as a child in the next Globoplay soap opera, "Paraíso perdido," sharing the role with Alanis Guillen. Maria Cecília is the daughter of Werneck (Alexandre Nero) and sister of Heitor (Juliano Floss), and will have a romantic involvement with her brother-in-law Peixoto (Eduardo Sterblitch) as well as with Edgar (Juan Paiva). The cast also includes Hermila Guedes, Clara Moneke, Ricardo Teodoro, Maicon Rodrigues, and Vilma Melo. The plot by George Moura and Sergio Goldenberg will be based on four works by Nelson Rodrigues.
