Souffiane El Karouani has already arrived in Lisbon to reinforce Benfica. The 23-year-old left-back joined the red-and-white club after the transfer was confirmed in the last transfer window.
The player arrived at Humberto Delgado Airport on Sunday night and gave an interview to BTV, Benfica's official television.
In the broadcast statements, El Karouani revealed that he didn't need to think much to accept Benfica's proposal, showing enthusiasm for the opportunity to play at the Portuguese club.
The transfer of the 23-year-old player comes as a reinforcement for the defensive sector of the team coached by Bruno Lage.
