The Setúbal Town Hall will be illuminated in red for three nights to mark World Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Day, celebrated on September 7th. The initiative aims to raise public awareness about this rare genetic disease that mainly affects boys and causes progressive muscle degeneration. The special lighting is a way to give visibility to the cause and show solidarity with patients and their families. This awareness action takes place within the framework of international efforts to alert to the need for research and support for those affected by this degenerative condition.
