Zeca Veloso, son of singer Caetano Veloso and producer Paula Lavigne, got married this weekend in Rio de Janeiro. The news was announced through the couple's Instagram, where they shared photos and an emotional caption about the celebration. The bride is Mariana Fernandes.

The ceremony was intimate, taking place only with the presence of family members in the Rio city. The wedding was conducted by a pastor and accompanied by a string quartet, respecting Zeca Veloso's evangelical faith.

Caetano and Paula made a joint post describing the moment. According to them, the wedding happened "with great beauty" and the presence of families "confirmed the firmness of the decision of the two young people." The text mentions there were words of Christian faith welcomed by adults and children, as well as laughter and tears during the celebration.

Zeca is the middle child of the couple, being the second of Caetano Veloso's three children. In the post's caption, the parents wished the couple to be "very intensely happy," ending with the word "Love."
