A first alert dispatch was issued for a rural fire in the municipalities of Beja, Ferreira do Alentejo and Odivelas. The fire originated in vegetation (brush) and prompted the activation of emergency response resources.
To combat the fire, 12 operatives and 3 ground vehicles were deployed. No air support was requested for this incident.
The first alert status indicates that the situation is being monitored and that authorities are closely watching the fire's progression, although the resources mobilized may not yet reflect the full extent of resources needed should the situation worsen.
