The Jornal de Mafra published a weather forecast for August 31 to September 3, 2026, covering the municipalities of Mafra, Ericeira, Sintra, Torres Vedras, Santa Cruz and Lisbon. This forecast includes information on cloud cover, maximum and minimum temperatures, as well as wind direction and intensity for each day.

On Monday, August 31, partly cloudy skies are expected in most locations, with minimum temperatures between 15°C and 18°C and maximum temperatures between 22°C and 26°C. The wind will blow moderately from the North in practically all the covered regions.

Throughout the week, a gradual increase in temperatures is expected, especially in Torres Vedras and Lisbon, where maximum temperatures could reach 34°C and 37°C, respectively, on Thursday, September 3. The sky will vary between partly cloudy and partially cloudy, with the wind weakening progressively from Wednesday onwards.

The Portuguese Institute for the Sea and Atmosfera has not issued any weather warnings for the Lisbon district during this period.
