The teams from Trás-os-Montes took to the field in the first round of the Portuguese Cup, in a round marked by varied results. Bragança was one of the standout teams, defeating Rebordelo 4-0. The Brigantine formation confirmed their favoritism and progressed to the next round, with Pipo, Varela, Edgar and Gonçalo scoring the goals in the thrashing.

AD Marco 09 also came out on top against SC Régua, winning 1-0 in a balanced match, thus eliminating the Douro team. Minas de Argozelo, however, had an afternoon to forget, being thrashed decisively by Vianense, with a heavy 8-0 defeat, which determined the elimination of the Trás-os-Montes team from the competition.

In Montalegre, the tie between the home team and AD Ponte da Barca was decided on penalties. After regular time, the decision had to be made through the penalty kicks, with AD Ponte da Barca showing greater efficiency and winning 4-5, thus securing qualification for the next round.

As equipas transmontanas entraram em ação na primeira eliminatória da Taça de Portugal, numa jornada marcada por vitórias claras, desilusões e um apuramento decidido nas grandes penalidades.

O Bragança foi uma das equipas transmontanas em destaque, ao vencer o Rebordelo por 4-0. A formação brigantina confirmou o favoritismo e garantiu uma passagem tranquila à próxima fase da prova rainha do futebol português.

Pipo abriu o caminho para a vitória, tendo Varela, Edgar e Gonçalo completado a goleada.

Também o AD Marco 09 levou a melhor sobre o SC Régua, vencendo por 1-0. Num encontro equilibrado, um golo acabou por fazer a diferença e ditou a eliminação da equipa duriense.

O Minas de Argozelo teve uma tarde para esquecer frente ao Vianense. A equipa minhota impôs-se de forma contundente, com uma vitória por 8-0, colocando um ponto final da equipa transmontana na participação na Taça de Portugal.

Já em Montalegre, a decisão acabou por ser feita através dos pontapés da marca de grande penalidade, com a AD Ponte da Barca a revelar maior eficácia e a vencer por 4-5, garantindo a qualificação.
