CATARINA DIAS WINS BRONZE AT THE WORLD KICKBOXING CHAMPIONSHIP IN HUNGARY

The athlete Catarina Dias, from Montalegre, won the bronze medal at the World Kickboxing Championship held in Hungary, more specifically in Budapest. Representing the Ginásio Clube Mirandelense, the transmontana athlete once again placed Portugal on the international podium in one of the main competitions of the sport.

The third place achieved confirms Catarina Dias among the prominent names in Portuguese kickboxing. The competition in Budapest brought together athletes from different countries and some of the main international references in the sport, which makes the athlete's performance even more significant.

The achievement represents a source of pride not only for her club and for Mirandela, but for the entire transmontano territory. The medal also confirms the quality of the work developed by the Ginásio Clube Mirandelense, responsible for the athlete's preparation and for a journey that has allowed talents from the region to be projected to the highest competitive level.

A atleta transmontana, representante do Ginásio Clube Mirandelense, voltou a colocar Portugal no pódio internacional numa das principais competições da modalidade.

Catarina Dias, natural de Montalegre, conquistou a medalha de bronze no Campeonato do Mundo de Kickboxing, na Hungria, numa prestação que volta a confirmar a atleta transmontana entre os nomes de destaque do kickboxing português.
Representante do Ginásio Clube Mirandelense, Catarina Dias enfrentou em Budapeste uma competição de elevado nível, que reuniu atletas de diferentes países e algumas das principais referências internacionais da modalidade.
O terceiro lugar alcançado na Hungria acrescenta mais um resultado de dimensão internacional ao percurso da atleta, que tem vindo a afirmar-se de forma consistente nos grandes palcos do kickboxing.
Natural de Montalegre, Catarina Dias leva agora também o nome de Barroso para uma competição mundial, numa conquista que representa motivo de orgulho não apenas para o seu clube e para Mirandela, mas para todo o território transmontano.
A medalha confirma, igualmente, a qualidade do trabalho desenvolvido pelo Ginásio Clube Mirandelense, responsável pela preparação da atleta e por um percurso que tem permitido projetar talentos da região para o mais alto nível competitivo.
Mais do que uma medalha, o bronze conquistado na Hungria traduz anos de trabalho, disciplina, dedicação e superação. Catarina Dias volta a provar que o talento nascido no interior pode chegar aos maiores palcos do desporto internacional.
De Montalegre para o mundo, Catarina Dias continua a fazer história no kickboxing e a levar o nome de Trás-os-Montes ao pódio internacional.
